PITCH is the startup competition at Web Summit Rio, showcasing the world’s most promising early-stage startups in a live, onstage pitching battle.
The competition is open to all ALPHA and BETA startups at Web Summit Rio that have received less than $5 million in funding to date.

Competition Format
The top 35 startups that apply will pitch in front of our distinguished judging panel and hundreds of attendees in the group rounds of PITCH, which will take place on our dedicated PITCH stages. Following the group stages, ten startups will advance to the semi-final on Centre Stage in a bid for one of three PITCH finalist spots.
Those three finalists will battle it out on Centre Stage for a chance to be crowned PITCH champion at Web Summit Rio 2026.
