Why do I need the Web Summit app?
To put simply: it’s how you access your ticket for registration, so you really can't come to the event without it!
Aside from that, our in-house built software helps power your event experience.
The Web Summit app lets you connect with attendees, set up meetings, check out the hottest startups, and add the top talks to your personal schedule – all in one place.
1. Review your profile
When registering, be sure to include basic personal information on your profile.
If your headshot or profile information needs to be updated at any point, you can do this yourself directly via the app.
2. Select your topics of interest
We ask you to select the topics you’re most interested in hearing about, and the areas of expertise you can share knowledge on with your fellow attendees. This will help us connect you with the right attendees and suggest talks at the event that we think might interest you.
You can update your profile on our website by logging in here using your login email or ticket reference.
High-quality headshots matter. Make sure you follow our profile headshot guidelines below.
Photos should be:
Taken straight-on, not from the side
Including head and shoulders
Cropped as a square (please avoid circular/porthole formats)
1,000 x 1,000 pixels minimum
Preferably in colour, rather than monochrome/black and white

How do I create my own personal schedule for Web Summit?
Any talks you save, or meetings and activities you arrange via our app, will automatically appear in your personal schedule. You can view your personalised schedule in our app at any time.
I'm having trouble logging in to the Web Summit app. Can you help?
Of course! Follow these steps:
Make sure you have the most updated version of the mobile app.
Open the app and enter your ticket reference or email address
Click 'Log in'.
Check your inbox for an email from us with a single-use authentication link (it might be in your Spam folder).
If you don't receive the authentication link email...
Return to the app and click the “Trouble receiving our email?” link under the email sent notification.
Enter both your ticket reference and your email address.
Click 'Log in".
That should do the trick!
