What is the main airport in Lisbon?
Lisbon Airport (LIS) also known as Humberto Delgado Airport, is the main international gateway to Portugal. It’s a 15-minute drive from the Web Summit venue, MEO Arena & FIL.

Do I need a visa to enter Portugal?
If you’re travelling from outside the EU, please check whether you need a visa to enter the country. While we will not engage directly with your relevant embassy, we can supply you with a letter confirming that you will be attending Web Summit, in order to support your application. See below for instructions.
Please note: It is solely your responsibility to assess and manage your visa requirements. It may take some time for your embassy to process your visa application. Please be sure to request your visa in plenty of time before your anticipated date of travel. Your embassy should be able to give you an idea of average waiting periods for visa processing.
How do I get a letter confirming my attendance?
You can generate a confirmation letter or certificate of attendance by signing into the Web Summit web app.
Start by filling out your public profile, if you haven’t already, and select your interests to complete your profile.
Once you're done, click on the menu icon on the top right and select ‘Documents’.
On the 'Attendee documents' page, click 'Request confirmation letter' and add your details
(Name, Nationality, Country of residence, Passport number and Date of birth)You will receive your letter shortly after.
NOTE: You can only apply once for this letter, so you must ensure that you enter your information correctly.
I need to include contact details for Web Summit in my visa application. What should I submit?
