If speakers, investors, partners and startups are announcing something newsworthy at Web Summit, they’ll provide us with a press release that we can distribute to members of the media at the event.
The 2025 press releases will be here on our website, which you’ll be able to visit during the event to discover the latest news announced at Web Summit.
Yes! Web Summit has a dedicated press conference facility at the event.
The press conference area operates each day of Web Summit and typically press conferences take place directly after a speaker’s appearance on stage and are open to media.
The area is managed and staffed by Web Summit's media team.
Each press conference features an introduction from Web Summit's media team to assembled members of the media, followed by a brief statement or comment from the speaker before the floor is opened to questions.
The press conference stage is a private space located in the Media Village. The stage, arranged in a theatre-style configuration, will include designated seating for media. There is dedicated space for journalists, television cameras, videographers and photographers.
The press conference area offers a comprehensive AV setup, complete with microphones and a presentation screen.
When will the press conference schedule for Web Summit be announced?
Our press conference schedule goes live around two weeks before the event.

Yes. Web Summit has a dedicated and fully equipped space for recording audio and video content for your podcast. Podcasters can capture content such as interviews for their latest episodes in our dedicated booth on the exhibition floor, equipped with microphones, a sound mixer, a PA system so the podcast can be promoted to other attendees and a dedicated engineer – all at no extra cost.
If you are interested in booking the podcast booth to record your podcast, please contact your Media Success Manager or email podcasts@websummit.com and we will be happy to assist.
Go Studio
Our Go Studios are our on-site broadcasting facilities. These facilities are complimentary for journalists and are perfect for broadcast or video-based interviews.
We have three broadcast studios on site. We have a non-equipped studio based in Pavilion 1, this is a 4x4m space and it includes power, ethernet, broadcast lighting, four high stools and two high tables.
We also have two broadcast spaces upstairs in the balcony of the Altice Arena overlooking Centre Stage. One is a fully equipped studio with a camera, lights and a production assistant. This space can also be used to book down the line facilities, and we have a separate space-only spot that can be used if your crew have their own equipment.
Please note that our studio spaces are in high demand during events and must be booked through our Global Broadcast Manager, Lisa Armstrong Bowles. Please reach out to Lisa at lisa.armstrongbowles@websummit.com if you are interested in booking any of our studio spaces.
We will provide the exact location of the Go Studios closer to the event.
