• American Public Works Association, Illinois Chapter - Prairie Branch

The Prairie Branch of the American Public Works Association is awarding two (2) separate $2,000 Scholarships in recognition of scholastic achievement and participation in scholastic and extracurricular activities.  These scholarships are eligible to be used for either spring or fall semesters. Only technical/engineering related concentrations will be considered for this scholarship opportunity.

• Because Life Deserves Design Scholarship

Because Life Deserves Design Scholarship is searching for students to recognize their potential in contributing to the 

world of architecture, interior design, or graphic design.  Scholarships range from $500 to $1500.  Use the following

• The Jack Caldwell "It's All About the Soul" Memorial Award

The Memorial Award will provide $500 for one graduating senior who plans to further their education or career.  This 

award has no GPA requirement, but must possess a passion for the Arts, Music, or Culinary Arts.

• CBAI Foundation for Community Banking 2026 Scholarship Program 

CBAI provides monetary awards for top high-school seniors statewide.  These awards help deserving students 

highlight the importance of community banking to the local economy.  The prize awarded to the overall winner 

is $1,000 per year for up to four years, up to 11 additional awards of $1,000 and up to 12 second-place awards 

of $500 each.  Stop in the counseling office for more information and to pick up an application.  

Essays must be received by March 2, 2026.

• Adam Mitchell Clack Scholarship  

This scholarship was created to honor the memory of the Williamsville Junior High Eighth Grader Adam Clack.        Requirements include involvement in band or chorus, demonstrates success in Advanced Math, Science, English, or History classes.  Also intentions to study engineering, education or music in college is helpful.   Two, one time $1000 scholarships will be awarded.  Click on link for an application and more information:  Adam Clack Application

• Displaced Energy Worker Dependent Transition Scholarship Program 

 This scholarship offers tuition and fee coverage at any public or community college to dependents of a person who 

 was laid off because their coal mine  (Viper Coal Mine) closed on or after September 15, 2016.

• Jared Lee Edge Memorial Scholarship  

This $1000 scholarship will be awarded to a student who is highly motivated to pursue a career in the health 

care field.  Pick up an application in the counseling department.  

Deadline to submit is March 10, 2026.

• Farm Credit Illinois Scholarship  

Thirty $2,500 Agriculture Scholarships are available to high school seniors who will study an ag-related curricula 

or trade in a college or vocational school next fall and pursue a career on the farm or in the industry.

• The Golden Apple Scholars of Illinois Program 

   This program Encourages academically talented Illinois students, especially minority students, to pursue teaching    careers, especially at high-need, hard-to-staff schools by providing tuition assistance (tuition, fees and room 

and board or commuter allowance) at one of the participating colleges.  You may qualify for up to $2,500 as 

a freshman or sophomore, and up to $5,000 as a junior or senior.

• Barbara Greening Memorial Scholarship

  The family of Barbara Jones Greening provides two $500 college scholarships each year for WHS girls 

who participated in basketball or softball their senior year.

• Horatio Alger Association Scholarships for Juniors 

The Horatio Alger Association supports deserving young people, Juniors in high school, who are overcoming

• Horatio Alger Association Scholarships for Seniors

The Horatio Alger Association supports deserving young people, Seniors in high school, who are overcoming significant challenges and are commiteed to pursuing higher education.  The scholarships and services severa as a powerful symbol of recongnition of the Scholars' character and of their belief in the their potential.

• Illinois Bankers Association Scholarship

Illinois Bankers Association is currently accepting applications for their scholarship.  Any one pursuing higher education with an interest in business, finance, or banking-related fields should apply.

• Illinois Elks Children's Care Corporation College Scholarships for PT, OT, Speech Pathology,& Special Education

Illinois Elks Children's Care Corporation is committed to supporting college students who are pursuing careers in certain fields of therapy and special education.

Illinois Masonic Scottish Rite Scholarships 

 Illinois Grand Lodge and Scottish Rite Masons provide scholarships to help individuals better themselves through 

the pursuit of knowledge. This online application covers six scholarships, each of which has unique qualifications.

• Illinois Sheriffis' Association

   Illinois Sheriffs' Association awards scholarships from $500 - $1000 to college-bound students who demonstrate 

outstanding scholastic, extra-curricular, and character qualifications.

• Illinois Women in Leadership Scholarships (IWIL)

The Community Foundation serves the counties of Sangamon, Cass, Christian, Logan, Macoupin, Menard,       Montgomery, and Morgan in central Illinois, and administers a scholarship program for approximately 50 scholarship  funds.  The complete listing of scholarship opportunities and criteria is listed at the link below. The scholarship application process is open annually from January 1 to March 1. Students need to complete only ONE application to be matched with scholarships for which they are eligible.

• Lincoln Land Community College Scholarships  

LLCC Foundation awards scholarships specifically given to students attending Lincoln Land Community College.

• Lincoln Land Community College Construction Management AAS Program/Occupation Scholarships  

       To qualify for the LLCC Construction Managment AAS Program/Occupation Schalrhsips, you must first have applied 

  to Lincoln Land Community College.  Once admitted, you can complete the scholarship application.  Use link for more

• Lincoln Land Communtiy College  American Legion Post 616 Scholarship

  American Legion Post 616 is in the process of creating a new scholarship for Williamsville High School graduates

  who have a parent or grandparent who is an active military member or a veteran. Student must have applied to   LLCC.  This is a $1000 scholarship open to students in any program of study.

• Lineworker's Scholarship 

This scholarship offers $3000 to Lincoln Land Community College's Lineworker School.

• Menard Electric Cooperative 

Scholarships are available to seniors whose parents receive electrical service from Menard Electric Cooperative. 

Menard Electric Cooperative Scholarships program offers $2,000 to those who will be attending a 4-year college or university, $1,500 to those who will be attending a community college or vocational/tech school, $1,500 at-large scholarship.

One applicant will also be chosen for an all-expenses paid trip to Washington, D.C. on the Youth to Washington Tour

June 15-22, 2026.  Applicants must be a high school senior and their parent/legal guardian must be a Menard

Electric Cooperative member with their primary residence or business served by the cooperative.

• Devon Mikuleza Memorial Scholarship 

 In honor of the late Devon Mikuleza who had intended on joining a trade. This scholarship is open to anyone 

 joining any career in the trade industry.  Minimum of $500.  Click here to apply

• Orlene Drobisch Moore Scholarship

The Orlene Drobisch Moore Scholarship typically awards two or more $2500 scholarships each year.  Good character, good citizenship, community service, scholastic record, and a relative need are some of the criteria to be considered.  Click the link for more information and an application: Orelene Drobisch Moore Scholarship

• 2026 OCI Foundation Scholarship  

Open to graduating high school seniors who are residents of Sangamon County. Applicants must attend an 

accredited college or university in the fall of 2026 as a full-time student and pursue a degree in a health-related field. Click  the link for downloadable application: PDF Application

• The Dean Ritter Trust 

The Dean Ritter Trust is an organization committed to awarding scholarships to college-bound students who are 

deaf or hard of hearing.  Since 2013, The Dean Ritter Trust has provided over $600,000 in tuition scholarships

• Sangamon County Farm Bureau Foundation Scholarships

• UCB Family Epilepsy Scholarship Program

  This program offers scholarships to people living with epilepsy.  Must demonstrate academic and personal achievement.  Exemplify a desire to advocate for others and serve others.  Over 30 scholarships of up to $5000 will be awarded and 3 for up to $10,000.  Click on link for application and more information: UCB Epilepsy Scholarship

• WHS Sports Boosters Outstanding Sportsmanship Award  

The Williamsville Sports Boosters is offering at least two WHS athletes a $2000 scholarship.  Any senior athlete can  apply and it will not be awarded based on athletic ability.  Click on the link for the application and more information.  Sports Boosters Scholarship Application

• Williamsville Education Association Scholarship  

 WEA Scholarship - Williamsville Education Association awards (2) $500 scholarships to graduating seniors. 

 This  scholarship is open to all WHS seniors. Criteria for selection are leadership, character, scholarship, 

 community service, and extracurricular involvement. Education majors are encouraged to apply but is not 

 a requirement. Students must submit an essay reflecting on a meaningful experience they have had at WHS

• Williamsville Junior Football League Scholarship

A one time $1000 scholarship will be awarded to the WHS senior directly.  The following criteria will be considered: good  character, good citizenship, deserving of financial assistance.  Click on link for application and more information: WJFL Scholarship Application

• Williamsville Vocal Music Boosters Scholarship   

$500 scholarship is awarded to a senior who has been involved in vocal music during their high school career and who intends to engage in some type of vocal music activity during college.  

         Pick up an application in the Counseling Department.

Deadline if April 17, 2026.

• The Kathleen Wright Social Work Scholarship

This scholarship will award a graduating senior $1000 toward their education in the field of social work.  To apply 

    for the scholarship, students need to write a letter including certain criteria.  If interested, please come to the   Counseling office for more information.

  Deadline: March 20, 2026  (Letter must be postmarked by that date)

• Women's Transportation Seminar 

Women's Transportation Seminar is an international organization that advances women in the transportation industry through professional development, networking, and scholarships. The organization, which includes members

• Army ROTC Illinois State Tuition Waiver 

 The ISTW comes with no military commitment. This waiver will cover tuition costs at one of the State Universities

• Distinguished Young Women of Illinois

 A National Program that empowers young women to reach their full potential by providing scholarships, life skills workshops, and a positive peer network.  For Girls in the Class of 2027.  Distinguished Young Women of Illinois 

• Murray State University's Commonwealth Honors Academy 

This is a three-week academic experience held every June on Murray State University’s main campus in 

Murray, KY. You’ll live on campus while you take college-level honors classes and participate in fun activities 

and seminars to help you grow personally and socially.  To be eligible you must be a current high school JUNIOR.
