• American Public Works Association, Illinois Chapter - Prairie Branch

The Prairie Branch of the American Public Works Association is awarding two (2) separate $2,000 Scholarships in recognition of scholastic achievement and participation in scholastic and extracurricular activities.  These scholarships are eligible to be used for either spring or fall semesters. Only technical/engineering related concentrations will be considered for this scholarship opportunity.

• Because Life Deserves Design Scholarship

Because Life Deserves Design Scholarship is searching for students to recognize their potential in contributing to the 

world of architecture, interior design, or graphic design.  Scholarships range from $500 to $1500.  Use the following

• The Jack Caldwell "It's All About the Soul" Memorial Award

The Memorial Award will provide $500 for one graduating senior who plans to further their education or career.  This 

award has no GPA requirement, but must possess a passion for the Arts, Music, or Culinary Arts.

• Adam Mitchell Clack Scholarship  

This scholarship was created to honor the memory of the Williamsville Junior High Eighth Grader Adam Clack.        Requirements include involvement in band or chorus, demonstrates success in Advanced Math, Science, English, or History classes.  Also intentions to study engineering, education or music in college is helpful.   Two, one time $1000 scholarships will be awarded.  Click on link for an application and more information:  Adam Clack Application

• Displaced Energy Worker Dependent Transition Scholarship Program 

 This scholarship offers tuition and fee coverage at any public or community college to dependents of a person who 

 was laid off because their coal mine  (Viper Coal Mine) closed on or after September 15, 2016.

• Barbara Greening Memorial Scholarship

  The family of Barbara Jones Greening provides two $500 college scholarships each year for WHS girls 

who participated in basketball or softball their senior year.

  Illinois Agricultural Education & FFA are offering over 65 different scholarships.

• Illinois Bankers Association Scholarship

Illinois Bankers Association is currently accepting applications for their scholarship.  Any one pursuing higher education with an interest in business, finance, or banking-related fields should apply.

• Illinois Masonic Scottish Rite Scholarships 

 Illinois Grand Lodge and Scottish Rite Masons provide scholarships to help individuals better themselves through 

the pursuit of knowledge. This online application covers six scholarships, each of which has unique qualifications.

• Levi, Ray, & Shoup, Inc. Scholarship

Each year Levi, Ray, & Shoup, Inc. sponsors a Computer Science Scholarship Award.  $2000 cash scholarship   award is given to a WHS student who has taken a Computer Science course at WHS  and plans to attend a college             majoring in Computer Science or related field.

• Lineworker's Scholarship 

This scholarship offers $3000 to Lincoln Land Community College's Lineworker School.

• MikeroweWORKS Foundation Work Ethic Scholarship  

  The MikeroweWORKS Foundation Work Ethic Scholarship program provides financial aid to students pursuing   training in skilled trades. The scholarship targets individuals pursuing careers in welding, HVAC, plumbing and   electrical, focusing on those with a strong work ethic rather than just academic performance.  Use the link for     more information and to apply.    MikeroweWORKS Scholarship

• Devon Mikuleza Memorial Scholarship 

 In honor of the late Devon Mikuleza who had intended on joining a trade. This scholarship is open to anyone 

 joining any career in the trade industry.  Minimum of $500.  Click here to apply

• Orlene Drobisch Moore Scholarship

The Orlene Drobisch Moore Scholarship typically awards two or more $2500 scholarships each year.  Good character, good citizenship, community service, scholastic record, and a relative need are some of the criteria to be considered.  Click the link for more information and an application: Orelene Drobisch Moore Scholarship

• The Dean Ritter Trust 

The Dean Ritter Trust is an organization committed to awarding scholarships to college-bound students who are 

deaf or hard of hearing.  Since 2013, The Dean Ritter Trust has provided over $600,000 in tuition scholarships

• Sangamon County Farm Bureau Foundation Scholarships

•  Sangamon County Republican Women Rosemarie Long/Drinda OConnor Scholarships

Two one -time $1000 scholarships will be offered for the 2026-2027 school year.  The scholarships are awarded to Republican women from Sangamon County who are high school seniors or older. The selected women must be a part of the Sangamon County Republican community or have close ties to it.

• WHS Sports Boosters Outstanding Sportsmanship Award  

The Williamsville Sports Boosters is offering at least two WHS athletes a $2000 scholarship.  Any senior athlete can  apply and it will not be awarded based on athletic ability.  Click on the link for the application and more information.  Sports Boosters Scholarship Application

• Williamsville Education Association Scholarship  

 WEA Scholarship - Williamsville Education Association awards (2) $500 scholarships to graduating seniors. 

 This  scholarship is open to all WHS seniors. Criteria for selection are leadership, character, scholarship, 

 community service, and extracurricular involvement. Education majors are encouraged to apply but is not 

 a requirement. Students must submit an essay reflecting on a meaningful experience they have had at WHS

• Williamsville Junior Football League Scholarship

A one time $1000 scholarship will be awarded to the WHS senior directly.  The following criteria will be considered: good  character, good citizenship, deserving of financial assistance.  Click on link for application and more information: WJFL Scholarship Application

• Williamsville Vocal Music Boosters Scholarship   

$500 scholarship is awarded to a senior who has been involved in vocal music during their high school career and who intends to engage in some type of vocal music activity during college.  

         Pick up an application in the Counseling Department.

Deadline if April 17, 2026.

• The Kathleen Wright Social Work Scholarship

     This scholarship will award a graduating senior $1000 toward their education in the field of social work.  To apply 

  for the scholarship, students need to write a letter including certain criteria.  If interested, please come to 

  the Counseling office for more information.

 Deadline: March 20, 2026  (Letter must be postmarked by that date)

• Women's Transportation Seminar 

Women's Transportation Seminar is an international organization that advances women in the transportation industry through professional development, networking, and scholarships. The organization, which includes members

• Army ROTC Illinois State Tuition Waiver 

 The ISTW comes with no military commitment. This waiver will cover tuition costs at one of the State Universities

• Distinguished Young Women of Illinois

 A National Program that empowers young women to reach their full potential by providing scholarships, life skills workshops, and a positive peer network.  For Girls in the Class of 2027.  Distinguished Young Women of Illinois 

• Murray State University's Commonwealth Honors Academy 

This is a three-week academic experience held every June on Murray State University’s main campus in 

Murray, KY. You’ll live on campus while you take college-level honors classes and participate in fun activities 

and seminars to help you grow personally and socially.  To be eligible you must be a current high school JUNIOR.
