Broad Brook Foundation Grant
The Broad Brook Foundation offers a financial grant to high school seniors who live in the Broad Brook watershed* to congratulate them on completing high school and choosing to continue their educational journey. Our goal is to celebrate our local graduates as they enter certified
training programs, trade schools, and two and four year colleges. Each financial grant is $500. Recipients are selected by the four board trustees.
2026 High School Graduation
Residence in the Broad Brook watershed: The Broad Brook watershed includes those portions of Barnard, Pomfret, Royalton and Sharon where streams flow into Broad Brook. Residents who live on property contiguous with these portions are also eligible for grants.
Acceptance into a certified training program, trade school, or two or four year college
Applicants will send a letter with their high school graduation information and their upcoming education plans. The applicant’s physical home address as well as the mailing address(
if it is different), should be included to establish eligibility.
The deadline for submission is May 15th, 2026.

Robert and Deborah Peeler Nurse Scholars Program - The Scholars Program has two goals - first, to incentivize qualified individuals to pursue a career in professional nursing: and second, to encourage Registered Nurse (RN) graduates to begin their career at Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center.

Springfield Hospital Medical Staff Announces Healthcare Education Scholarship
Springfield Hospital’s Medical Staff is proud to announce the second annual Healthcare Education Scholarship program for one outstanding graduating senior planning to pursue ongoing education. This scholarship, valued at $3,000, aims to support students as they continue their healthcare education. All application materials must be submitted by May 15, 2026.
The scholarship is open to all area high school seniors who have been accepted into a post-secondary program.

Delano-Nulty Award
For over 50 years, Lyric Theatre Company has been an integral part of our vibrant arts community, fostering creativity, talent, and a lifelong appreciation for the performing arts. In continued support of emerging artists, Lyric proudly awards a $2,000 scholarship each year to a graduating high school senior who plans to pursue higher education in the performing arts.
The Delano-Nulty Award honors two of Lyric’s founding members, Howard Delano and Polly Nulty, whose passion, dedication, and vision helped shape the organization’s legacy. This scholarship reflects their enduring commitment to artistic excellence and arts education.
The Delano-Nulty Award is available exclusively to students who intend to major in the performing arts at an accredited college or university. Through this award, Lyric Theatre Company seeks to encourage and support the next generation of performers, creators, and arts leaders.

Bethel Rotary Scholarships 2026
Bethel Area Rotary is pleased to announce our 2026 scholarships for this year’s graduating seniors from the White River Valley High School and the towns we serve at the Randolph Technical and Career Center, Sharon Academy or other local educational programs. We will offer several scholarships of up to $1,000 to students attending two or four-year educational experiences or vocational training. Our scholarships are open to students from our chartered towns: Bethel, Royalton, Tunbridge, Barnard, Rochester, Pittsfield, and Stockbridge, entering college, vocational training, or entering a trade and in need of specialized equipment.
Bethel Area Rotary will select scholarship awardees based on a simple application process. Students are asked to clearly include all of their contact information and what they envision as their next educational or career steps as they answer the following prompts.
