The United States Junior Chamber International (JCI) Senate Foundation will award $1500 or $2000 scholarship grants to graduating high school seniors who will continue their education at an accredited post-secondary college or university. Scholarships of $1000 will be awarded to graduating high school seniors who will attend an accredited vocational, technical or trade school program.
The number of grants awarded annually is at the discretion of the Foundation and must be used for educational expenses in the first year of full-time study following high school graduation. Foundation for Rural Service Scholarships
Since 1994, the Foundation for Rural Service (FRS) aims to assist people and communities in rural areas that receive telephone and broadband service from members of NTCA--The Rural Broadband Association. We believe that the future of our rural communities is intrinsically linked to the future of our nation as a whole. FRS has awarded over $2 million in scholarships since its inception, empowering rural students to advance their communities with invaluable skill sets and experiences.
FRS annually awards scholarships to rural students for their first year of 2-year or 4-year college, or vocational school. New this year is a scholarship for non-traditional students who have not recently graduated from high school and who may be entering college or vocational school while working, or returning students who have taken a break from their studies.
All applicants must reside in the service area of an NTCA—The Rural Broadband Association member company to be eligible. The application requires the student to identify that member company from a drop-down menu.
The value of the scholarships ranges from $1,000-$9,000, based on a variety of criteria. One application qualifies a student for all available FRS scholarships.

WCAX Scholarships

The three students who are selected will each receive a $20,000/year scholarship to attend Saint Michael’s College. Knights of Columbus Vermont State Council Scholarship
To qualify you must be a high school senior qualifying to graduate in June 2026 AND a son or daughter of a Knight of Columbus member (paternal or legally adopted) in good standing in a subordinate Council within the Vermont jurisdiction. Sons or daughters of deceased members are also eligible if their father was in good standing at the time of his death. An applicant may be a member of the Knights of Columbus or a member of a Columbian Squires Circle, in the jurisdiction of Vermont and a high school senior qualifying to graduate in June 2026.

The Vermont Golf Association Scholarship Fund assists deserving Vermont graduating High School students in obtaining a college education or technical training of university grade.
The 2026 VGA Scholarship Fund will start accepting on-line applications on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 for students who meet the criteria as stated in the application. I know that some of you do not release the student transcript directly to them. Instead of mailing you can download the transcript as an attachment by sending it to me at pj3murray@gmail.com and I will include it with the application.

VPA Member Scholarship
Each school year, the Vermont Principals’ Association (VPA) will award $500 scholarships to high school seniors who are the children of VPA members. If you are interested in being considered, please send this form and supporting materials, postmarked no later than May 4, 2026. The scholarships will be announced in June, and will be awarded pending enrollment in their first year of college.
