WCAX Scholarships
(Please share with school counselors) WCAX has partnered with Saint Michael’s College to award three scholarships for prospective students to celebrate service to our community. The three students who are selected will each receive a $20,000/year scholarship to attend Saint Michael’s College. After the first year’s scholarship from WCAX, St. Mike’s will honor a $20,000 discount for the following three years for winners. That’s a potential $80,000 scholarship over four years! To be considered, students must submit a brief (250-650 word) essay detailing their community service and a free application to Saint Michael’s College. Access to the entry form, links to the St. Mike’s application and official rules are here: https://www.wcax.com/page/wcax-service-scholarship/
Entering is simple:
Step one, enter a valid email address on the WCAX entry website.
Step 2: fill in contact information, and have a parent there to sign off if under age 18.
Step 3: upload your essay and submit.
Then, for the St. Mike’s application, you can use the same information and the same essay. The promo code for a free St. Mike’s application online is “SMC1904”.
And that’s it – an essay about serving your community and 10 minutes entering online could earn $80,000 in scholarship discount toward higher education at Saint Michael’s College!
Entries are being accepted now through February 21, 2026. Winners will be announced during March Madness basketball coverage on WCAX!
