Wakefield Middle School Counseling Department Mission Statement:
The Wakefield Middle School Counseling Department will provide a comprehensive program that helps students grow in the three domains: academics, social-emotional and career. We provide assistance to all students, regardless of individual differences, to help them become effective students, responsible citizens, productive workers, and lifelong learners. We work as leaders in our school, alongside teachers, parents, and the community, to help empower all students to be successful when faced with the challenges of the future.
Wakefield Middle School Counseling Department Vision Statement:
At Wakefield Middle School all students are respected, supported, and assisted in the achievement of academic, personal/social, and future educational and career goals. Our students are college-bound and career ready in an environment that emphasizes the use 21st century skills and a rigorous curriculum. Partnership between the school, family and community creates an enriching environment where students grow to their greatest potential. Our students leave Wakefield Middle as lifelong learners and productive members of the community having been supported by a comprehensive school counseling program.
