Rising 6th Grade Timeline 2026:

• February 11th - Middle School counselors get together with Elementary counselors to exchange all  necessary information to get ready for our newest wolves! This is when we start getting excited!

• February 17 through March 21 - you will receive information on middle school elective options from your elementary counselors. Students and families should review and explore these options together!

• February 19th - notification of magnet application results

• March 2 - March 13 - Transfer request period.

• March TBD- Some of our larger elementary schools will elect to visit WMS "field trip" style.

• March TBD- Rising 6th Grade Orientation event for parents (See below!)

• March 10 through April 11 - Rising 6th graders will make their elective selections, with the help of their elementary counselors.

• August TBD - Wolf Camp- Rising 6th graders will meet their teachers, get lockers, and learn about middle school
