All 8th grade students take 4 core classes:
8th grade ELA
8th grade Science
8th grade Social Studies
Math 8 / HS Math 1/ HS Math 2*

All students will take Health and Physical Education for one semester, each year of Middle School.
In addition to Health/PE, 8th grade students take 2/3 electives per school year. Most electives are year long, including Band, with very few exceptions (please see the Rising 8th grade Elective Registration Form below).
Please note: students are expected to remain in the year-long electives for the entire duration of the school year.

We do our absolute best to give students one of their top elective choices. The first week of each semester, students will have the opportunity to request an elective change. Please note: students must remain in the year-long electives.
