Teachers communicate effectively.

Teachers communicate in ways that are clearly understood by their students. They are perceptive listeners and are able to communicate with students in a variety of ways, even when language is a barrier. Teachers help students articulate thoughts and ideas clearly and effectively.

C-MAPP 2.0 sample lesson, written by me, demonstrates assisting students in discussion moves and scaffolding of language to articulate thoughts clearly and effectively at all levels of language acquisition. Piloted this year. Revised version to be rolled out for 2019-20 school year.
