Teachers understand how the content they teach relates to other disciplines in order to deepen understanding and connect learning for students. Teachers promote global awareness and its relevance to the subjects they teach.

C-MAPP 2.0 sample lesson, written by me, demonstrates promotion of global awareness and the interconnectedness of lessons to middle school (6th grade) interdisciplinary subject matter. Piloted this year. Revised version to be rolled out for 2019-20 school year.
