They organize learning teams in order to help students define roles, strengthen social ties, improve communication and collaborative skills, interact with people from different cultures and backgrounds, and develop leadership qualities.

C-MAPP 2.0 sample lesson, written by me, provides scaffolding for students at all levels of language acquisition to improve academic communication and collaborative skills in order to interact with native speakers in other content-area classrooms. Piloted this year. Revised version to be rolled out for 2019-20 school year.
