Information to Get Ready for GRADUATION DAY

Attend VIRTUAL Senior Send Off April 15th, 2025 at 6:30pm (Important info about Graduation, Graduation Clearance and graduation tickets!)
Submit your plans so we can celebrate you! We want to know if you are planning to enroll, enlist, or be employed after graduation.
Attend Rehearsal - Thursday, May 29th at HHS (Senior Day) - 7:25-9:30am in the HHS Main Gym (Graduates Only, normal school clothes). Students wishing to leave early on this day must turn in a permission form - these can be found in Student Services.
Attend Awards Day - Friday, May 30th at HHS Main Gym - 8am (Seniors in graduation regalia). All senior parents/families invited and encouraged to attend.
Being "cleared" to graduate means the senior has:
passed all classes required to graduate
paid any outstanding fees/fines (check your PowerSchool)
Pay your Senior Fee using your SchoolCash Online Account ($10 for midyear grads and $20 for June Grads)
reported all scholarship offers. Report Scholarship Offers here.
completed WCPSS Graduate Intention Survey
Student must be logged in their WCPSS account to access and complete.
returned WCPSS Chromebook with its charger to the media center
completed the CPR requirement outlined in NCGS 115C-81 (students will be informed if they are missing this in homeroom on Monday, May 19)
Once the senior is "cleared" to graduate, they can pick up their graduation tickets at the front entrance of HHS the following days/times:
Thursday, June 12 (1-3pm)
Friday, June 13 (10am-12pm and 2-4pm)
If interested, attend the Baccalaureate Service at Hope Lutheran Church on Sunday, June 15th at 2pm. (This event is optional.)

Transcript Reminder: Seniors are responsible for sending their own final transcripts. Students may begin requesting transcripts on June 1 and ALL students should request their transcript through Scriborder. See specific instructions here.
Graduates arrive at the Raleigh Convention Center no later than 10:55am in HHS graduation regalia.
Best practice? Practice driving to the Raleigh Convention Center and finding parking BEFORE June 16th!
Guests with tickets may enter the Raleigh Convention Center at 11:15am.
How many tickets will each graduate receive? 10
If the guest needs their own seat, they need a ticket. Young infants/toddlers that can be in a lap do not need a ticket.
Have a guest with special needs? Contact your counselor.
When will graduates be able to pick up their tickets?
Thursday, June 12 (1-3pm) and Friday, June 13 (10am-12pm, 2-4pm) at the front entrance to Heritage HS
Can graduates request more tickets? No.
Raleigh Convention Center and WCPSS Graduation Guidelines:
The graduation ceremony is considered general admission; therefore, saving seats will not be allowed.
The following are prohibited in the Raleigh Convention Center:
flowers in glass vases
food or drinks
signs
balloons
noise makers (musical instruments, air horns, whistles)
wrapped packages
intoxicated individuals
How long will the ceremony last? The graduation ceremony should last 60-70 minutes.
How can a friend/family member watch the ceremony? WCPSS will be streaming the ceremony via their YouTube channel.
