During September 2025, all counselors will conduct individual meetings with senior students (draft schedule). The purpose of the senior conference is to verify appropriate senior courses that will lead to a high school diploma, to provide post high school planning support, and answer specific questions. This is a follow-up to Junior Conferences that were held last Spring. Seniors are expected to schedule follow up meetings with their counselors as needed. What should a senior do prior to the senior meeting?
Review these slides that were shared in Advisory on 9/3-9/5/25
Review and complete the HHS Senior Info Sheet
Update your resume to give to your counselor.
Prepare to talk specifics about what you’ve done this summer to prepare yourself for the senior year and the transition to post high school.
Write out questions you need to ask your counselor. Bring them with you to the meeting.
After the meeting, students should share the Senior Meeting Handout and Graduation Planning Form (unique to each student) with family and those supporting their post-graduation plans.
