NEW CDPs for current Sophomores and beyond: All Sophomores will be required to complete a Career Development Plan to be promoted to grade 11. The NC DPI website provides information here. Information on the HHS CDP roll out process is going to be posted below.
UPDATE on CDPS-5.23.25
Per state law every 10th grader must have a career development plan to be promoted to 11th grade. You will receive an email from Major Clarity that contains an Academic Career Plan for your student. This report contains information that your child created. It doesn't replace courses your child registered for. We suggest that you view the plan with your child and talk to them about it. Any future changes that need to be made can be made by your child at any time. You can sign the plan, but it is NOT a requirement at this time.
