Information for 2026 Winterfest Dance!

The Winterfest Dance will be held on Saturday, February 7th from 7pm-10pm.

Winterfest Off-Campus Guest Information

Any non-Sanderson guests must have approved off-campus guest forms on file. There are 2 forms we must receive by January 23rd at 11:59pm for an off-campus guest to attend the Winterfest dance.

Off-campus guests may be students who attend other high schools, high school students who are homeschooled, college students, workforce members, or individuals in the military. Guests must be no older than 20, and middle schoolers are not able to attend. 

1. The Off-Campus Guest Form must be completed by the Sanderson student. Parents cannot complete this form as it requires a WakeID to access it. The student will submit their name and some basic information about their guest including the guest’s name, date of birth, current status, and a photo ID.  

2. The off-campus guest should send the Statement of Character Form to someone who can complete a character reference for them. Please read carefully below to see who can complete an acceptable character reference: 

• Current high school students should ask their principal or assistant principal to complete the character statement.

• Current college students should ask a professor or dean to complete the character statement.

• Graduates who are working should ask their employer to complete the character statement.

• Individuals in the military should ask a commanding officer to complete the character statement.

• Students who are currently homeschooled may have a non-relative community member (pastor, coach, employer, activity advisor, etc.) complete the character statement.

All forms are due by January 23rd at 11:59 PM. Final decisions are at the discretion of the Sanderson administrators. Forms will be reviewed as they come in, and the Sanderson student will receive an email with the final decision no later than January 27th. 

There are a limited number of off-campus date tickets available. Please do not buy a ticket until you receive confirmation that your off-campus date has been approved.
