In partnership with Eva Perry Library (WCPL), this book drive was organized by our MTAC parent representative, Douglass Payne. Salem students and families were invited to attend library story time and drop off gently used children's books.
In response to a need that was discussed during our MTAC meetings, Ms. Payne and the PTA organized a book drive for classroom libraries for the 2023-24 school year.
Hundreds of books have been collected and will be available for teachers to select and add to their classrooms.
