About Me:  I graduated East Carolina with a Bachelor's Degree in Family and Consumer Sciences-- and went back for my Master’s Degree in the same field(GO PIRATES!). My first job was teaching Early Childhood Development in a high school for 14 years. Then, I was an advisor for Career and College Promise for 9 years at the community college level. For the past 3 years, I served as the Career Academy Coordinator for the Digital Arts and Project Management Business Academy here at RHS. I coordinated internship placements for my students -- and did many career development activities. Currently, I live in Raleigh and have two wonderful grandsons.  I enjoy being a part of the RAM FAMILY and assisting students with their future career, college, and/or military aspirations!
