Holly Springs Elementary utilizes the positive behavioral interventions and supports (PBIS) framework. We implement the PBIS framework in order to support the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral competence of all students*.

Part of PBIS is that all teachers have consistent classroom and school-wide behavioral expectations which are explicitly modeled and practiced. Students are taught what is expected of them in each area of the school through a behavior matrix. Teachers reward the positive behaviors students exhibit.
