Welcome to Fuquay Varina High School! We are pleased that you have chosen to enroll your student. Please follow the steps below to complete the registration process.
Three Steps to Enrollment
Step 1: Determine Your Base School
Before starting the process, please confirm that Fuquay Varina High School is your base school.
Go to https://www.wcpss.net/student-assignment to determine your base school based on your address.
Step 2: Complete the Online Application
Once you have confirmed your base school, please complete the official online registration application.
Step 3: Document Verification Appointment
After your online application is submitted, you will be contacted by the school's registrar, Mrs. Kenia Colon, email address: Kcolon@wcpss.net
Please allow 24-48 hrs for processing of application.
Appointment: Our registrar will review all original required documents during this appointment.
Required Documents
Please have the following original documents ready for your verification appointment:
Student’s Birth Certificate: An original or certified copy of the student’s birth certificate (passports are not accepted).
Parent/Guardian Photo ID: Photo identification of the registering parent or guardian.
Proof of Residence (current):
A current electric, gas, or water bill, OR
A signed lease agreement, OR
A settlement statement or closing statement in the name of the parent(s) or court-appointed guardian with a closing date within 30 days.
Immunization Records
Previous School Records: Withdrawal form from previous school, report card, and/or transcripts.
Special Services Records (If Applicable): A current Individualized Education Plan (IEP) and psychological testing information.
Custody Papers (If Applicable): If there are any court-ordered custody arrangements.
International Students
If your student is coming to Fuquay Varina High School from outside of the United States, there is a specific procedure you must follow:
Complete the Online Registration: You should complete the online registration application first before contacting the Center for International Enrollment (CIE).
Contact CIE: You need to visit or contact the Center for International Enrollment (CIE).

Transcript Evaluation: CIE will evaluate foreign transcripts and ensure that you have all the necessary documents to enroll your student in school. *Please note that the student will be assessed on the WIDA ACCESS Placement Test (W-APT) to determine English language proficiency.
You can request student records online. Some requests may include fees. The fee schedule is available when you begin your order. We do not provide duplicate diplomas. For security reasons, we cannot share student information, including student ID numbers, by phone. You must request records online or in person at Central Records.
Available records
Transcripts: High school grades, credits, graduation date (if applicable), and demographic information.
Immunization records
Documents for identification: To apply for a new Social Security card or a DMV record.
Birth Certificate corrections: Verification of name or birth date.
Records for students transferring to another school
If you are an enrolling school or district requesting records for a K-12 student transferring from WCPSS, you must submit your request online. There is no fee for K–12 schools or districts to request records.
