Information on CCP Course Materials
While the CCP Program allows high school students to participate in college courses tuition-free, students are still responsible for purchasing any materials required for the class. This includes digital or physical textbooks as well as online platforms where students complete assignments. There are some courses that are "OER" (Open Education Resources), which means there are no required fees for course materials. Once the Semester Catalog opens for the semester, students can view course materials and pricing online by following these steps:
Click "Menu" at the Top
Look for the box "Student Life" and click "Bookstore."
The first paragraph on the webpage says "Wake Tech bookstores, operated by BibliU, provide the books, electronics, supplies, and other materials students need for any course." Click the link "Bibliu"
Click 'Course Materials" at the top — scroll to "Order Textbooks" and click "General Textbooks."
Click "Search by Course" --Search by department and then "Course-Section-Instructor"
Eligibility Requirements for CCP
11th and 12th grades students who meet the eligibility criteria and have an UNWEIGHTED GPA OF AT LEAST 2.8, are able to apply. In addition to the general eligibility requirements, 9th and 10th graders planning to begin the program prior to their junior year have to meet the additional guidelines outlined on the CCP website linked below.
