Beginning Technical Theatre Arts Students will:
Identify and understand basic theatre and technical theatre terminology.
Recognize technical theatre fields and the careers available.
Display understanding of safety procedures in the theatre and the scene shop.
Develop and display creativity through the design process.
Recognize the historical relevance of theatre.
Develop techniques to analyze plays through a technical viewpoint.
Communicate and Collaborate in order to create and problem-solve.
Intermediate Technical Theatre Arts Students will:
Review and display understanding of technical theatre terminology.
Recognize technical theatre fields and the careers available.
Display understanding of safety procedures in the theatre and the scene shop.
Develop and display creativity through the design process.
Recognize the historical relevance of theatre.
Develop techniques to analyze plays through a technical viewpoint.
Communicate and Collaborate in order to create and problem-solve.
