Instrumental Music: Band - Proficient Band Honors

This course is an Honors level band class. (Mostly Juniors and Seniors, with a few Sophomores) Students focus on ensemble playing through the study of Advanced band literature. Music literature Level grade V and VI. Students will learn Advanced music theory concepts. Additional Honors work such as: Solo Literature, ECDBA Audition requirements. Participation in after school rehearsals and performances is expected. Students should enroll in 2 semesters of Band class. Tri M Music Honors Society eligible.

** Proficient and Advance Band - selection into upper level band classes will be by audition only. Please contact Mr. Rowe for audition materials and an audition time.
