Counseling and Student Services
All yearlong/first semester AP students should join their AP Classrooms by November 15th in order to register for the corresponding AP Exam. There is no cost to take exams for students enrolled in AP courses. Students who do not register by the deadline but who decide to test later or students who decide not to test after the November deadline, will have to pay a $40 late or unused test fee charged by the College Board. All students and parents of AP students should read this AP memo in its entirety. Spring/second semester only AP courses and students will have a deadline in March.
Career and College Promise (CCP) Information for Spring 2025
The Wake Tech Career and College Promise (CCP) program is an opportunity for high school students to take tuition-free dual enrollment classes through a community college. Most students participate in the program as juniors and seniors. The Wake Tech CCP enrollment cycle for Spring 2025 opened on Monday, September 23rd. The course schedule opened October 21st and course registration is now open as of November 4th. Interested students should begin by reviewing the eligibility requirements and watching Wake Tech’s CCP information video. If you’re interested in taking a course in the spring, please plan to complete enrollment as soon as possible and let your counselor know. Students that have taken courses or completed the enrollment process before will need to complete the continuing student form.
