Requirements: Wake County senior who plans to major in Environmental Science
2024 "Miss Margaret" Scholarship
Deadline: May 1st
Requirements:
-Young woman graduating from an accredited public high school in Wake County
-Acceptance to 4 year college or university
-Top 10% of class
2024 "Miss Abigail" Scholarship
Deadline: May 1st
Requirements:
- Acceptance to a 4 year college/university
-Minimum 3.25 GPA
-Demonstrates leadership and involvement in the community
-Must have a family member who is a current or former educator (does not have to be immediate family)
The Future Educator Scholarship
Deadline: May 1st
Requirements:
- Acceptance to a 4 year college/university
-Planning to pursue a degree in Education
-Minimum 4.0 GPA (weighted or unweighted)
The Arts Make a Difference Scholarship
Deadline: May 1st
Requirements:
- Acceptance to a 2 year college or 4 year college/university with plans to earn a bachelor's degree in Visual or Performing Arts
-Minimum 3.25 GPA
Kassel A. Smit Make a Difference Class of 2024 Scholarship
Deadline: May 3rd
"Students graduating from Cary High School in June 2024 who plan to attend a 2 or 4 year college are invited to apply for this scholarship. Students may also be nominated by a Cary High School teacher or staff member with the consent of the student being nominated. There will be a total of two individuals awarded $3,000 scholarships each for a single year of study beginning in the fall of 2024 at a 2 or 4 year college."
Pupusas for Education Scholarship
Deadline: April 6th
"Pupusas for Education is a a community led non-profit committed to supporting undocumented students pursuing higher education. Our goal is to close the opportunity gap in access and affordability to higher education opportunities for undocumented/DACAmented students in NC. To provide cohorts of scholars with community and programming through allyship/mentorship."
