Last year I facilitated this and will this Spring! 8th grade had a traditional Career Fair with Guest Speakers from all different Career Clusters in all Core Classrooms, and elective classes. The form created has 65+ google form links because I needed to limit the number of students in each session to 25, and form limiter was used. So with 24 speakers with almost all of them having 3 sessions each, the max had to be 25 or less. Smaller groups are able to ask more questions of the Guest Speaker. 8th gr Career Fair Sign Up form (make a copy & only edit your copy!) I am willing to share this document to save other CDC's time, however, this must be copied & not edit the original. Thank you!
Double the number of speakers this year, 24 and students could go to 3 different sessions instead of 2 as they did last year. I was mindful that our Guest Speakers should be from diverse backgrounds and have trades as well as professions represented. 8th gr Career Fair Survey Results : )
Sheldon Saddler talked about careers in football, he played for Shaw University! We also did a field trip to Shaw so this was more up close and personal.
Macy Williams talked about Careers in Construction and how he worked his way to the top, in Construction Management!
Kelly Darby had one of the most popular sessions since she is a Photographer & also shared about her being a Model & Defense Intelligence agent in the past.
