6th grade students: Trucks and More Career Fair
7th grade students: Virtual Career Fair created by Junior Achievement, and all career fairs have a post survey with results.
8th grade students: Traditional Career Fair with 36 guest speakers and taught a career lesson through and followed up with a post survey.
9-12th grades: Military contact for the school, each branch has a different day in the cafeteria to have a table for recruiting, I have set up the ASVAB test on site Fall and Spring, and had a Career Cafes for each branch of the Military virtually.
9-12th grades: Intervention Team-meet with the 10 students on my caseload twice monthly at least, and attend the team meetings twice monthly. Discuss their academic progress, career goals and go over results on Major Clarity from our lesson.
9th grade: Career Lesson Fall and Spring to reach all 700 + students who took a personality and learning styles assessment on Major Clarity and explored careers that match, following up with individual or small group appointments to investigate careers further if needed.
10th grade: Junior Achievement has created a virtual Career Fair called Inspire and is offered to all Sophomores.

At both schools I will help connect Teachers & Students with community partnerships & resources to create relevant career learning experiences throughout the school year.

High School: utilize community resources to connect with Teachers & Students by providing career Guest Speakers (may include Parents sharing their careers, or tutor/mentoring students, Military, Business Alliance members & community members), field trips. Provide a virtual career event for all 10th grade students.

Students will learn relevant Career content in CTE classes, hearing Guest Speakers about their Careers, visit off campus learning experiences to connect real world experiences to their curriculum and help them make decisions about their future careers.

Goals for Apex Friendship Middle School
At the Middle School, I will help students explore careers, and connect them with community partnerships and resources to create relevant career learning experiences throughout the year.

2. During the school year I will utilize online learning tools with students at both schools. I will research, learn & utilize 2 new/updated online learning tools & measure the effectiveness of those tools by giving google surveys before and after the lesson.

Meeting with students virtually on google meet, I will use new & effective online learning tools with students at both schools. I will present them on google slides and give time in class to research careers.
