My name is Chelsea Sharp and I am SO excited to be your child's third grade teacher at Barton Pond Elementary! 

I was born in Fredericksburg, VA and moved to Salisbury, NC when I was in high school. I attended UNC Chapel Hill (Go Heels!) where I was a part of the North Carolina Teaching Fellows Program. I graduated with a bachelor's in Elementary Education and have also earned my National Board Certification. This will be my 13th year teaching!

When I am not in the classroom... I enjoy going to Club Pilates, baking anything sweet, and spending time with family and friends! My husband, Josh, and I have a 9 month old named Oliver "Ollie" who is playful, curious, and so much fun! We also have a golden retriever named Jordy who loves to cuddle :)

My biggest priority is ensuring your child feels safe, loved, and successful in my classroom! I look forward to getting to know your family and working as a team to make this a wonderful year at Barton Pond!
