All About Mrs. G 

I am very excited to be part of the Barton Pond Elementary staff! I am originally from Gainesville, Florida but have lived in the Raleigh area since 1995. I graduated from Clemson University with a degree in Elementary Education and have taught in Wake County for the last 29 years. I have taught 2nd-4th grades with third grade being my absolute favorite! I am also a National Board certified teacher and love learning new ways to meet the needs of students in the classroom. 

 My oldest son Andrew is a senior at UNC Charlotte and my younger son Ryan is a sophomore at the University of Utah. I enjoy spending time with my family, attending live theatre, reading, and traveling to the beach and the mountains for vacation. 

 I look forward to meeting everyone and working together to build a fabulous classroom community.
