Meet Mrs. Brogden

My name is Krista Brogden, this will be my Eighth year teaching. I previously taught fifth grade, but have taught third grade for the last seven years. I grew up spending half of my time on a dairy farm in Lincolnton, NC and still enjoy showing Jersey cows with my family. When I was not on the farm with my dad, I was going to school in Fuquay-Varina and participating in FFA events and learning how to shag dance. These days I enjoy spending time with family and fishing with my son and husband. My husband and I welcomed our son, Ryder, in December of 2022, extending our family has been a blessing!

I graduated from Appalachian State University in Elementary Education and then received my masters in Reading Education. I obtained an Autism Certificate while in school and concentrated in Diversity Studies. I plan to share my love of learning with my students and strive to have a collaborative, safe, kind, and inclusive classroom. Together, we will watch our third graders grow and achieve many great academic, social, and emotional milestones!
