I was born and raised in NC and graduated from North Carolina State University with a degree in Elementary Education. Go Wolfpack! This will be my 8th year as an educator and my third year at Alston Ridge. Kindergarten is so much fun and I am so excited to learn and grow with you all this year! When I’m not teaching I enjoy spending time with family, friends and my two dogs Bentley and Dakota. Let’s have a wonderful year! 

I was born and raised in Ohio and lived in Maryland for over twenty years. North Carolina is now my home. I have a professional background in education and librarianship, and I have a passion for early literacy and sharing a love for reading. I enjoy spending time with my family, exploring new places, and taking long walks with my sweet labrador, Gus Gus. I'm so happy to be a part of your kindergartener's learning journey at Alston Ridge!
