I was born and raised in North Carolina and graduated from North Carolina State University with a degree in Elementary Education. Go Wolfpack! This will be my 8th year as an educator and my third year at Alston Ridge. Kindergarten is so much fun and I am so excited to learn and grow with you all this year! When I’m not teaching I enjoy spending time with family, friends and my two dogs Bentley and Dakota. Let’s have a wonderful year! 

In 2009 I moved to North Carolina from New York. I grew up in the Bronx and I lived in Rockland County, NY for some time. I'm a mother to 3 young men, a Grandmother to 7, and I also have 1 great-grandchild.
