Originally from Texas, I started calling NC home about 7 years ago. Since earning my Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University in 2008, I have enjoyed teaching in Pre-K through 2nd grade. Kindergarten is my favorite grade because play and inquiry are the platforms for learning and development. Weekends include my husband grilling and trying to wear out our two rambunctious dogs, Jones and Moon.

I grew up in India and got my master's degree in education. I moved from Texas to NC in July 2022 & living in Cary, NC with my husband and two kids. My elder daughter is in middle school and my younger one is in elementary. Our family loves to travel around the world to unique countries, as we love exploring different types of cultures. I like taking long walks, listening to music & hanging out with my family.
