Students in Year 10 are provided with an overall grounding in academic work.
Please realise that choosing not to take a subject may mean it cannot be picked up later. This applies to most languages as well as some other subjects.
All Year 10 students will study in all Learning Areas: English, Mathematics, Science, Health and Physical Education, Technology, Languages, Arts, Social Sciences. Options are offered in Social Sciences, Arts and Languages.
Explore this guide, but also have discussions with key staff to enable a planned decision for the course of study selected.
As a Year 10 student you will study
You will choose 1 full year Arts course
You will choose 1 full year Language course
You will choose 2 semester Social Science courses
You can also apply for a place in the Academy of Sport (outside of the regular timetable)
