Probably the most popular thing in the 90s was the home run chase between Mark McGuire and Sammy Sosa. they both ended up passing Roger Maris's 61 home run record in a season. home runs became significantly more saught after in the 90s. Many stadiums were built to be "hitters stadiums" specifically Coors field were because of the high altitude the ball goes farther.

Ken Griffey Jr

Ken Griffey Jr or The Kid was arguably one of the best baseball players of all time. During his 22-year career, he had 630 home runs and was a 13-time All-Star.

Barry Bonds

Barry Bonds played for 22 seasons on the Pittsburgh Pirates and San Francisco Giants. His big accomplishment was breaking the career home run record with 762 home runs.

Garry Schefield

Gary Sheffield also played for 22 seasons with eight different ball clubs. He was a feared hitter and a key player in the Mariners winning the World Series in 1997.
