Gangster rap was rap about what really was going on in there lifes. there were many great artists from the 90 like Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Tupac Shakur, easy-e. The 90s were also responsible for arguably the best record labels like Death Row Records and Aftermath Records.
One of the bigest events in in the 90s was was Easy-E died on march 26,1995. he died due to aids and when this happened the world was devastated because Easy-E was one the pioneers of gangster rap. Another incident was tupac shukar death. tupac shukurar was one of the first big hits from death row records.
