USS Arleigh Burke

Named after Admiral Arleigh Burke, it is a leading missile destroyer of its class, which was launched in September 1989 but commissioned until 1991. It is a destroyer that is in operations around the world, operating at various installations. naval forces of Europe and likewise, the USS Arleigh Burke is the result of lessons learned by the Royal Navy in its war against Argentina over the Falklands Islands.

USS Patriot

Of the Avenger class, the USS Patriot is a countermeasures ship specialized in mines, electronic warfare, and a marine operations base commissioned in 1991, with its home port in Sasebo, Japan.

USS Shiloh

USS Shiloh (CG-67) is a Ticonderoga-class guided missile cruiser of the United States Navy, named in remembrance of the Battle of Shiloh during the American Civil War. She was built at the Bath Iron Works in Bath, Maine.

With her guided missiles and guns, she is capable of facing and defeating threats in the air, on or under the sea, and ashore. Launched in September 1991, she was commissioned as a homeport at Pearl Harbor. It has been deployed on several occasions but the most relevant are in the war against Iran where it fought against Iranian ships and launched missiles at positions.

USS Gonzalez

USS Gonzalez (DDG-66) is an Arleigh Burke-class destroyer in the United States Navy. She is named for Sergeant Alfredo Cantu Gonzalez, a Medal of Honor recipient in the Vietnam War. This missile destroyer was deployed in the Serbian war, providing ground and air attack in that region, it has also faced Somali pirates in 2005 and has served as a rescue ship on multiple occasions such as in Iran and in Africa when supporting the liberation of a German cruise ship kidnapped by Somali pirates.

Submarines

USS Jefferson City

USS Jefferson City (SSN-759), a Los Angeles-class submarine, is the only ship of the United States Navy to be named for Jefferson City, Missouri. Built by Newport News Shipbuilding and Dry Dock Company and launched in August 1990, the USS Fefferson City has participated in multiple missions such as launching missiles against Iraq in September 1997. Her deployment home base is in Guam in the middle from Pacific.

USS Maryland

Named after the state of Maryland, this submarine is the 13th Ohio class submarine, classified for its nuclear propulsion and its main objective being the launch of nuclear-capable ballistic missiles. Built by General Dynamics and launched in 1992, the main missions of this submarine have been military exercises but it has also been deployed on multiple occasions when global tensions require support even underwater.

USS Nebraska

USS Nebraska (SSBN-739) is the 14th Ohio-class ballistic missile submarine, and the second United States Navy vessel to be named in honor of Nebraska, the 37th state. She carries Trident ballistic missiles.

Nebraska shares its nickname, "Big Red", with the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's athletic teams.

Aircraft Carriers

USS Essex

A Wasp-class Landing Helicopter Dock in service with the United States Navy. The amphibious assault ship was built at what is now Huntington Ingalls Industries launched in February 1991. Essex's maiden deployment was in October 1994. With the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit embarked. In January 1995, she left the Persian Gulf to prepare for the complex task of covering the withdrawal of United Nations multinational force from Somalia in Operation United Shield.

USS George Washington

is a United States Navy nuclear-powered aircraft carrier, the sixth carrier in the Nimitz class and the fourth US Navy ship named after George Washington. In 2008, USS George Washington became the first nuclear powered aircraft carrier to be forward-deployed at naval base Yokosuka, Japan. Her deployments stand out in the Persian Gulf War where she directed naval air operations with the aircraft she carries.

USS Ronald Reagan

is a Nimitz-class, nuclear-powered supercarrier in the service of the United States Navy. The ninth ship of her class, [6] she is named in honor of Ronald W. Reagan, President of the United States. Ronald Reagan made five deployments to the Pacific and Middle East between 2006 and 2011 while based at Naval Air Station North Island. In October 2015, Ronald Reagan replaced USS George Washington as the flagship of Carrier Strike Group 5, the only forward-based carrier strike group homeported at Yokosuka, Japan, as part of the United States Seventh Fleet
