Retirement planning is an essential aspect of financial security for employees. Among the various options available the District provides employees the opportunity to open a 403(b) plan with one of the District's two approved vendors.
As a public sector employee, the West Bend School District takes part in the Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS) where a set amount of money (that may change each year) is paid into a member’s retirement account. Money is paid by both the employer and the employee.
