Who is eligible for Critical Illness and Accident Insurance?
Who is eligible for Critical Illness and Accident Insurance?
All employees on Plan 1 of the District health insurance will receive District paid critical illness ($5,000 of coverage) and accident insurance
All employees and their dependents on Plan 2 of the District health insurance will receive District paid critical illness ($5,000 of coverage per enrolled individual) and accident insurance
Employees who work 20 or more hours per week can purchase voluntary critical illness ($5,000 or $15,000 of coverage) and accident insurance

It provides an annual benefit payment if you complete a covered health screening test, whether or not there is any out-of-pocket cost to you. Click here to review a list of covered health screenings.

For a family of 4 that is $400 of FREE money!

Someone covered by accident insurance who experiences an accident can off set out-of-pocket medical costs through payments received by the insurance company (VOYA). The benefit payments don’t go out to pay for medical bills or treatments you may need. Instead they come in, directly to you, to be used however you’d like.
