4/17/20 - Hide Classwork from the Stream. Are you overwhelmed by everything on the front page of Google Classroom (The Stream)? Try hiding Assignments from the stream so that it is only used for announcements. Then direct students to the "Classwork" tab for all assignments.
Google Chat
Chat is replacing the old Google Hangouts. It is much more feature-rich and allows you to create "rooms" where you can easily collaborate with team members or departments.
YouTube
If you are sharing videos with your students via Google Classroom, or Google Slides, you must make sure that you approve the video before sharing it. While you are viewing the video, simply click on the approve button. This button will only appear if you are signed in with your School Google Account. Once a video is approved, everyone in the district will be able to view it as well.
Google Sites
Want to create a simple Website for parents and students to access? Create a Google Site!
If you don't use Google Classroom, and just need a quick easy way to post announcements, share Google Docs, post YouTube videos, then Google Sites is the way to go.
