What is Garden Club?

Garden Club is an extra-curricular activity held throughout the school year on Mondays after school from 3:30 - 4:30. This club is open to all Kindergarteners through Fourth graders at our school. Wilson Garden Club is a way for students to do inquiry-based hands on projects, experiments, and activities.

Some of these projects, experiments, and activities include:

  • Planting various vegetables and flowers.
  • Caring for vegetable plants and flowers.
  • Learning how to up-keep/take care of an outside garden as well as indoor plants
  • Other experiments with fruits, vegetables and plants.

Over the past five years, our club has exponentially grown from 25 members our first year, to over 100 the past two years. Students enjoy being able to take these projects and experiments home to share with their family and friends!

Be sure to check out our "Projects" tab to learn about all the fun hands-on activities we do during our meetings!
