Students in Team Enterprise participated in a Sphero Challenge called "Sphero Pool Party". Students were placed into groups of 3 and were given limited materials to create a boat that would float and be controlled by the Sphero (robot). Students were given: 4 plastic spoons, 2 styrofoam cups, 1 piece of cardboard, 12 inches of duct tape, and scissors. Using these materials they began creating their boats. While creating, teams would place their boats in pools to see if they'd float. If they were successful in getting them to float they began driving and programming Sphero. The coolest part? This was just an entry event for Team Enterprise! They will now be challenged to create cardboard boats that will hold a team of students! They will be creating their boats and testing them out in an actual pool!!! Good luck students...stay dry!
