Medical Terminology

The following are guidelines to help you be successful in your dual credit IVY Tech HLHS 101, Medical Terminology.


  1. Timely - in assignments

  2. Attendance - YOU are responsible for making up your assignments. If the classroom door is closed when you arrive, you will be sent to the attendance office if you do not have a pass from another teacher. No emailing or texting the instructor. Plan ahead.

  3. Students will be:

    1. Productive

    2. Constructive

    3. Informative

    4. Respectful

  4. Communication - Respectful at all times.

    1. Communication should be made by using Google Classroom or email to the instructor.

    2. Communication will be professional.

  5. Electronics

    1. Everyday school-issued electronic devices need to be with each student.

    2. NO cell phones - or they will be taken away for the class period. If they are sitting out they will be taken away for the class period. No cell phones use will be tolerated. Breaks only.

1 - Note card holder/Coupon holder

1 - Composition Notebook

10 - Manila file folders

Student can use pen or pencil for this course

Must have Charged school-issued electronic device every day
