Welcome back to the 2020-2021 school year! This year will be like no other in that we are dealing with COVID-19. The year will continue to be focused on teaching and learning as the requirements for meeting all state academic content standards and assessments have not changed. The district’s reopening plan is on our website at www.wauseonindians.org.

The district currently has three plans for the school year. Plan A is our return to face-to-face learning under the reopening plan. Plan B is a flexible learning plan which includes face-to-face learning and remote learning. Plan C is a complete remote learning environment. Plan A is on our website. Plan B and C will be shared at a later date and used if needed during the pandemic.

Our facilities and grounds look great and are ready to receive students on August 17th! I want to publicly thank the maintenance and custodial staff who continued to work through the pandemic. Our facilities and grounds look awesome!

I also want to thank the entire Wauseon staff for diligently working with our students and families. Since March 12, 2020 the entire staff has learned to do things differently and we continue to grow professionally. This will be another great year of teaching and learning!
