GILMARTIN

I am a 6th - 8th grade English as a Second Language (ESL) and ELA teacher. I have taught at WMS since 2012; before coming here I taught high school ELA. I am the daughter of Deaf parents and grandparents, and know some sign language. I love learning about different cultures, new languages, and history. I also love traveling; I have visited eight other countries and hope to do more traveling in the future: Australia and Scandinavian countries are on my bucket list. I love to read and watch detective mysteries; also, I love watching baseball (I catch almost every Red Sox game on TV) and tennis. I have two cats - Henry and Lucy - and three nephews and a niece.
