NCAA Clearing House

National Collegiate Athletic Association

Students who plan to participate in Division I or II college athletics and/or accept an athletic scholarship must register with and be certified by the NCAA Initial-Eligibility Center.   Eligibility Center procedures include very specific and detailed guidelines. It is very important that both athletes and parents understand these requirements. Planning for NCAA eligibility must start in the freshman year in order to insure that the required academic standards are met. It is the responsibility of the student to consult with their counselor/dean, athletic director, and coach if they intend to apply for NCAA eligibility.

Please remember to list the NCAA Eligibility Center to receive ACT or SAT scores. This is done by listing 9999 as one of the colleges when registering for either the ACT or SAT.

If you have questions about the NCAA Clearinghouse and it's process, please feel free to ask to speak to our athletic office at (319) 433-2400 or contact Ms. Miller.
