Scheduling
Schedule Corrections
The staff at East High School believes all students can learn and need to be in challenging and rigorous classes. Students are responsible for determining and accepting the course of study for which they register. They must plan very deliberately, always keeping in mind high school requirements , individual interests and post secondary plans.
Course Requests are determined once a year. This is done in a variety of ways, depending on the student's grade level.
Freshmen- Course requests for the 9th grade year are determined at the end of the 8th grade year with their middle school counselor.
Sophomores- Counselors meet individually with students at the beginning of 2nd semester.
Juniors- Counselors meet with students individually to determine course requirements for senior year.
