The Career & Technical Education Department is committed to preparing all students for college, career, and life readiness and articulating post-high school plans for enrollment, employment, or enlistment. We focus our efforts on developing a student's competitive advantage by offering comprehensive experience related to academic, technical, and professional skills. The department has developed a flexible academy model that includes robust career pathways and comprehensive programs of study that focus on high-wage, high-demand, and high-skill careers. Our engaging curriculum, innovative instruction, and industry-aligned assessments infuse opportunities for students to earn college credit, participate in work-based learning experiences, and earn industry-recognized credentials that leverage career-connected learning, employment skills, and career-ready practices.
