Dear Ms. Editor,
[Paragraph 1: The Hook]
Have you ever wondered how dirt, scum, and slime feel when being mercilessly wiped off the face of the earth? Most folks give nary a thought to the cruelty suffered by filth. I aim to change this egregious situation with my hilarious, 1,000 word picture book, Slimeball the Brave.
[Paragraph 2: The Summary]
Slimeball the Brave is the story of a brave and plucky little slimeball trying to survive with his friends, Dirtball and Scumball, in a harsh world of cleaners and solvents. I believe kids will be inspired by the grubby trio’s courage and persistence in the face of an overzealous homemaker intent on a perfectly clean home.
[Paragraph 3: Thanks and sign-off]
I hope you enjoy the story, and I look forward to hearing your thoughts.
Sincerely,
