Vision Statement
In Clayton GT you will learn how and why to use various types of writing to accomplish different goals. You will develop your writing in three areas:
1) Personal writing (Sacred Writing Time)
2) Literary Analysis tests (in-class, after novel studies)
3) Formal Essays (on topics of your own choice taken through the full writing process).
In the end, you will be prepared for the writing requirements of high school Honors English courses and beyond.
You will need to do many revisions of your essays. Watch Austin's Butterfly to see why!
