Electronic Devices & BYOD
The Board prohibits the use of data devices by students except for instructional use under the authority of the teacher or administrator. Students are prohibited from using any electronic device that can take photographs or record audio or video except for instructional use under the authority of the teacher or administrator. The district shall not be liable for the loss, damage or misuse of any electronic device brought to school by a student.
Every student in grades Kindergarten through 12, will be participating in the Warwick Tech Warrior program and will have a device assigned to them, either a MacBook or an iPad. These devices will have all the necessary software and apps needed for their curriculum and learning goals. Students will not be able to access the district-provided Internet using their personal devices throughout the school day.
